DECKIE FOR A DAY - TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. All volunteer crew agree to behave in a responsible manner when on or in the vicinity of the vessel and have due consideration for other crew of the ship. Passengers may be refused entry to the ship if they are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

2. Volunteer crew agree they have read the Job Description and declare that they are able to undertake the duties outlined.

3. Volunteer crew agree to acquaint themselves with the safety rules of the vessel at the safety briefing held before departure and obey those rules and any safety directives issued by the Master of the Vessel. Note that crew will not be permitted to enter the water if they have recently consumed alcoholic beverages.

4. Booking Policies

4a. All bookings must be made online using the official booking form or by supplying all the information sought on such form.

4b. Trips may be cancelled due to predicted extreme weather conditions or the vessel being unexpectedly rendered unfit for work. In these cases, a refund of any booking monies will be paid in full to the person who made the booking.

4c. If your booking is not accepted for medical reasons you will also receive a full refund.

5. Pacific Estate Oysters assumes no responsibility for and cannot be held liable for any personal injury, death, property damage, or other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity which may be occasioned by reason of:

any wrongful, negligent, willful, or unauthorised acts or omissions on the part of any of the experience suppliers, or other employees or agents,

any defect in or failure of any vehicle, equipment, instrument owned, operated or otherwise by any of these suppliers, or

any wrongful, willful, or negligent act or omissions on any part of any other party not under the supervision or control of the Operator.
